In the 2006 draft, Keyes was already kind of crazy. (I named him after a bully whose surname was "Keyes" and basically portrayed him as being ax crazy.) Instead I had to work in a reference. Sort of a running gag with me and 
wyraachur (Well, two) but yeah.
The nudity was already a running gag as wel, same with therianthropes acting a bit like feral animals sometimes for the sake of humour.
Consider Connor and Eileen to be Topham's "morality pets".
