Welcome ^_^ I used to be really good at dragons, but I stopped drawing them for some reason... I really really like your scale detail too, makes me jelly.... At the time, I had been trying out scales, which honestly bug me the most because no matter how hard I tried, I was absolutely terrible xD
very nice portrait. I like the regal pose and the little smile. alöso, nice silvery sheen. :)
I think one of the reasons why people like soem dragons more than others, is that some, like silver, white and especially red dragon, are designed more harmonic, or maybe more eye-pleasing than the others.
but the initial designs date back to the 70's, when D&D was barely more than a tabletop game with role-playing elements. :)

Era um resto de papel canson cortado que iria para o lixo... Aí fiquei com dó e resolvi fazer alguma coisa com ele <3
