Sad to think we probably could have already had some actual advanced remote stations already set up on Mars if not for general american shortsightnedness with regards to the space program. At the least we should have some nice moon bases up and running.

Looks like it, since while they're so oppressive and repressive they're great at creating single-minded determination to a cause, and the 'we shall conquer space' cause is a great outlet, plus with a reasonable travel time they could help cut down on population and populate the moon and mars quite rapidly.

What I especially love in your pic, is those clouds, they are fascinatingly real... If I didn't see you doing them in live, I'd say you just took a photograph for sky background !!!!!
