S.I.C. Kamen Rider Kabuto Review 1 (finally >.>)
Well here is the first part of my review of this amazing action figure. finally...
Its time to walk the path of heaven.
To start off this figure is not show accurate! its SIC they take the level of detail and bring it up a few hundred notches and this is the result. they have added a TON of details that make this figure look amazing. all the a symmetrical panel linings and all of the molded details are just pure beauty. now i don't know if you can see this in the pictures or not but they did also detail in his compound eyes. the plastic sculpting on this baby is so intricate and the paint job is down right incredible! they have painted everywhere that needed it and a few places that dident! also along side the very nice plastic his leg armor is di-cast which gives him very nice stability and makes it a lot easier to balance him for kicking poses. also on his crotch area the little bit of skirt under his belt is molded out of a nice soft plastic so you can maneuver his legs around easier tho i recommend that you don't leave him in poses too long that would bend this soft plastic otherwise it wont bend back and you'll need to get a hair dryer to it to soften it up a bit more and bend it back. now this is just a complaint and something i really love about this figure but the horn is actually on a small hinge and can fold down. the only issue with it folding down is A. he dosent come with the cast on armor version so there isn't much point to it and B. it dosent peg onto his head it just sort of relies on the hinge being tight and friction to keep it in place. sadly my hinge is loose until you hit about 45 degrees so the horn will often fall off his head if i have him looking down or if i move him any. that being said i still love that the horn folds up and down :3. also another neat little moving part is the zecter on his belt. the horn on it folds back and forth for nice pre-rider kick poses or nice in the middle of casting off poses. now to articulation. he has it all. 2 ball joints in the neck his elbows and knees are double jointed his shoulders rest on a ball joint inside the torso so he has pectoral movement and there is also bicep swivel thanks to how they have the arms pegged on. the hands have rotation and are on a hinge but there is no ball joint just a peg that sticks up into the wrist so it makes it easier to swap out hands. he has 2 torso joints, a nice ab crunch and waist joint to get him in very nice poses with those. his hips have enough movement range that he can preform all his rider kicks and his feet are also on the same peg in system like his hands. there is also a toe joint which is really helpful for kneeling poses. that's all for this part of the review part 2 will come when i get around to sticking the pictures together. which might be later today >.>
something i forgot to mention on the front of the zecter there is a little molded translucent yellow plastic
also Kamen Rider and Kamen Rider Kabuto are copyrighted to Ban Dai im just reviewing the figure to help people decide if they want to purchase this figure or not
