For the past few years, on Canada Day, a number of local Ottawa furries (plus any visitors :) have gathered together and done a parade/walk downtown through the crowds just for the fun of it. Many, many pictures are taken. Here are some of them :)
Here's one of me in suit, near the start of the parade. Notice the Canadian Flag with a pawprint on it - this was done by hand by

Yes. To say 'you stand out in a crowd' is not a misnomer.
The funniest thing: Right before taking the group shot I posted, I was being swamped by a bunch of people asking for tourists, when suddenly I heard a familiar voice. I turned around, and here was my LANDLORD asking me to pose with his young boy (who wasn't co-operating, but is like 4 years old ^.^) He doesn't know I'm furry and didn't know it was me in the suit - but what are the odds of running into him amongst the crowds? XD I did my best and he thanked me before moving on, but still... definitely a memorable moment of 2012.
