I want to say its a young buck but Elk are not like deer. You can't gauge age by their antler size.

I JUST learned it, quite literally. I was looking it up as I wasn't sure if you could gauge age or not. Scientists/biologists actually use the teeth to determine age.

I wish it was that easy ;; Then I could know what my cat's age was before he passed away. When I found him he was such a lovely light orange and was a pretty young tom cat as he aged his fur around some parts of the face grew white just like a human. I am surprised from all the cat kibble he has eaten his teeth were never really warn out he did had some dark yellowing and plaque build up in which I do tried to clean without him putting up a fight.

I dont know Suns true age either, he was an adult them I got him and look at him now.. hes all white faced. Ive had him since Nov. 24, 2004.

I had my kitty since 1996 he passed away last year x.x
