Halloween is coming up soon, and while I haven't had time to make myself a costume in real life, I managed to whip this up in Second Life. It's the character Kabuki from the comics of the same name, by David Mack. By far my favorite comic series out there, both for the writing and the art.
Anyhow, everything in the costume except for the boots were textured and built by me. It includes such story-specific details as the jade statue in her armband, semi-transparent Noh Tattoo on her back, and the severed left finger. The mask is even removable, though I didn't go so far as to make a version of my base head with the scars on it. Maybe another time.
The character "Kabuki" is of course © David Mack. The boots are sold by Nevermore in Second Life.
Photoshop and SL building tools.

That is just a cool idea. Take your avatars and give them the costume in game. Man, I really wish Second Life would work for me. Ahh well, at least I get to look at pretty screen captures.
lol.
Good work, I love the idea behind the costume, hope you have a blast this Halloween.
