Black Cat Appreciation - "Baby"
http://www.kpax.com/news/today-is-black-cat-appreciation-day/
In the spirit of appreciation for the day, and thanks to another post I saw made a bit ago, I figured I'd share a picture of our 13 year old american bombay, "Baby"
He believes that he is people, and we commonly refer to him as Meat Tank, Juggernaut, Noisy Bastard and Good Cat.
He's super fucking awesome, and is probably the best cat I've ever lived with - even if he's prone to binge eating and food obsession after meeting on of his first dog a few years back (and learning how to beg thanks to said dog's "dog habits".
I try not to post too many pet pictures, but here's one of the better shots I was able to take of him not being totally food obsessed. ^^

We have to watch him like a hawk ever since he picked up the begging and scrounging habits. He's so rude and pushy now, that he'll straight up shove his face in your coffee cup with you sitting right there, after sneaking... inch by inch to get close enough to do so. The moment he thinks you're not paying attention, his face is in that food on your plate too. His worst habit is by far gorging himself on the food bowl right before feeding time to try to make it look empty. XD
He's pretty cool. Comes when you call him, sits in furniture like people. Wants to lay on your feet, not your lap and you can push and shove him all you want with your feet. He never bites if he's met you twice and doesn't have any trust issues or evasive habits. He's super delicate with the use of his claws too, so rubbing his belly it totally allowed as long as you can understand cat enough to know when he's done. He'll tell you of course with a slight curl of his claws, but never enough to break the skin more than the slightest bit.
