To my knowledge, I think he left because he didn't think he was going to improve doing furry stuff (and he wasn't too much into the whole porn thing or something like that), plus hardly anyone in the fandom actually gives out constructive criticism to help him (which is kind of true, especially if the picture is fetish related. It wasn't until after he posted a journal feeling down that criticism did appear). I could be wrong, but I think that's how he put it. At least he didn't leave for good, knowing he has a blog now.

True. I admittedly got a little worried he left the internet for good, especially since his DA account was inactive too. I knew something funny was going on though when I looked at his older blog (Savage Tempest) and he posted an update (a day before he left FA) about his artwork, but it looks like he lost his password or something, going by the first post in the new blog.

I do hope he does reconsider coming back to FA, but it's completely up to him.
