Our newest participant in the tale clearly prefers practical demonstrations over purely dictated ones.
Through a sufficient understanding of the natural flows of the world around them, and carefully practiced manipulation of those same flows, the disciplined warriors known commonly as Monks are able to perform almost superhuman feats - such as launching boulders into the air with a channelled gust of wind. Use of such abilities requires serenity and concentration that a traditional warrior's battle-rage would disrupt.
And for the record, the Jerboa's name isn't pronounced "Duck" - the final 'k' noise is much softer. :3 Similar to 'Dook', the noise people usually associate with ferrets, but a shorter 'oo' sound.
