I.... think I'm going to end up just sticking to colored pencils -_- I completely failed at coloring with the ProMarkers.... money down the drain, but at least I can say I tried....
It's definitly something I'm doing wrong, not blaming the markers or saying they suck. They are wonderful for coloring and shading if used properly I'm sure. I don't know if its because I'm coloring like I would with colored pencil, maybe theres a different technique to coloring with markers, but as you can see in these examples, I just can't get rid of the stroke marks... and blending... well I failed at that too But it also seems like the ink is already drying out on them... and I just opened them...
And yes, they are all incompleted. I felt they were lost causes and didn't want to waste any more coloring on them. If I continue with the markers I want to conserve the ink for when I actually do a complete drawing.
If anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it please, I really don't want to waste money on these markers. -_-
Anyways...
Picture #1: Of course, Gina.... either belching or catching Dale doing something unspeakable, you decide.
Picture #2: Based off of a MLP figure Jay bought for me as a reference. I think her names Sweet Song? Not sure.
Picture #3: A pony OFC (Original Fan Character) named Autumn Breeze. Autumn really didn't turn out quite as bad.... but even still, not what I was hoping the results would be. I'll be uploading her seperately to add her to a group, didn't want to add the picture in with all these other drawings since they aren't all pony related.
Picture #4: OFC Rocket Knights character named Arin Orituna, old old old character I had back when I first came across Rocket Knights for the Genesis. Nothing ever came of her, She was suppose to be a sort of Mulan-ish character minus taking her fathers armor to stop him from going to fight. She did it because she just wanted to be a knight I think she ended up dying in a fight I can't remember the story exactly.
