I bet these will become outdated at some point in future (calling it in advance). but in the meantime, I think it’d be an accurate presentation of Zam.
I guess the torso plating is kind of like an exoskeleton/carapace, much like that of a turtle (or a muscle shirt since that’s what it looks like) which is kind of tough… though ichil have a very rubbery hide anyway, I guess it’s reinforced to protect vital organs. They also have a weird support structure that consists of tubes containing liquid that can change consistency depending on the chemical content… stuff like chemical inbalance or internal hemorrhage might cause a limb to become floppy and unresponsive or rigid and tense etc. With some training an ichil can improve the elasticity of their body asfdsgdg blahhhahahrhg

Makes me wonder.. can they talk through their mouths? If they breathe through spiracles I'm assuming they can't inhale/exhale the old fashioned way. :o
(also a minor thing but I always wonder how much room there is in a cyclops head for the brain with their giant eyeballs, lol)

I'm not even entirely sure if they can talk! I know one assassin bug-based character of mine speaks through his spiracle-mouth things. Some ichil don't have mouths at all and instead have a head tentacle thing through which they can absorb nutrients out of liquids via osmosis. I've thought of ichil having a sign language at the very least.
