As someone who doesnt like coffee, the sheer cultlike following the beverage recieves is utterly baffling. Im sorry, but I just dont get it. It doesnt taste good, the caffeine payoff isnt that high, and about the only thing pleasant about it is the smell.

Love coffee myself, but it's a matter of personal taste. Nobody goes to coffee shops for coffee... it's all about being seen. It's the same reason why people drink Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, even though it tastes like weasel piss and is actually owned by Anheuser Busch, the largest brewery on earth.
