I use the center so I can add or change the pose as needed. As you can see, I started to do a thumbnail as a reference, but decided on a pose I actually knew how to draw.
And I have a hard time drawing large for some reason. I guess since I'm so close to the paper, that I'm unable to see the whole thing at once.
