Ghost Train III
Last of the older shots. Next come the ones from last night!
This is the tail end of the train shown in 'Ghost Train II'. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8674563/ You can see the flashing of the 'F.R.E.D.', or Flashing Rear End Device, as the train slowly rolls down the track.
The FRED, also called an EOT (End Of Train) or TED (Train End Device) is why you don't usually see the classic red caboose on the end of the train anymore. The FRED can automatically regulate brake pressure and control the brakes if necessary, and alerts crew to the presence of a backing train with its steadily blinking red lamp.

This one gets a lot of positive reviews, yes. In fact, it is currently featured on the Gold Coast Railroad Museum's homepage! http://gcrm.org/
