This is a scribble I uploaded earlier, cleaned up a bit and colored in openCanvas 4.03 Plus. I forgot how much fun it can be to color in this program. <3 There's a few problems in this pic that kind of itch at me, but... eh. I'm too glad that I actually colored something for the first time in ages to let it bother me too much. XD
The labcoat in particular was a bit of an ordeal, since oC doesn't have the types of brushes I would use in Painter to do cloth textures - something that I'll have to learn how to work around. XD Hence why there's so much scribbliness here. Labcoats have an interesting texture, and that combined with how they're white means there's a lot of ways you can do about coloring one. Here I used alternating shades of blue and yellow to try and get it across, along with toying around a bit with one of the oil paint brushes to see if I could get the texture across.
The hair was fun, but I think it turned out a bit too busy, and the skin could probably stand to be a little less orange even though I'm otherwise very happy with that part of the pic. Skin's probably my favorite thing to color. XD
