So I had to jump on the chance to get another commission by  kalida and this time I went more for cute than cool.


I really really love the look on his face in this one. The emotion that I get out this one reminds me of a situation of him having to meet a new babysitter or a new friend, and he's so shy about it to the point he's almost scared. It makes me just want to tell him "Don't worry, everything will be ok!"

I also really like the green shirt, and though it's hard to tell, there's a ducky on it!


I know the diaper is a little...unorthodox. I think I made the description a little unclear by asking for a cloth diaper with a pin on the front. I always love the look of a safety pin, but in retrospect it might have looked better on the hip. But I still think the diaper looks cute! It's like it was knotted at the hips, but a safety pin was added for extra measure!



Regardless, this is a wonderful sketch, and it's the first one where you can really see his new paws...I really love the "glove" effect of them!
