Quick color of a drawing featuring a redesign of http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2325508/ I like her original costume but felt I could do a more original design, hence this test.
I've been busy lately to do a full fledged illustration, but I assure you: You'll start to see better work from me in the coming days. I've not forgotten about Project S.A.U.R. so that will be done as well.
Let me know what you think of Andrea's new look :)

Nicely done, though I have to say like her previous slightly better. Trying for original design is good but I just can't shake the feeling I've seen these (or parts of it) in some form from different games I've played, or maybe it's just the theme that is close enough to jog my memory.
I drew this without looking at any reference material or trying to imitate any particular character but sure, there has been a explosion of high fantasy MMOs since World of Warcraft first came out and that brought a heck of a lot of artist working on creating armor sets for characters, so with such a massive amount of art out there that drinks from the influences of fantasy realm, there is bound to be cross pollination and similarities. That said, it would be too much to find a costume exactly like this.
I appreciate the input, I might add and modify some elements to tweak and complement this design further. Constructive comments are always welcome.

You're right about the amount of MMO's that has popped up over the last decade. One thing that I've never really liked is the "vagina piece" (as small crotch piece as they dare to make without having to raise the age rating) since they always looks to be so uncomfortable due to how they are fastened.
I get the whole "non viability" of a lot of costume designs for female characters in fantasy MMOs, I'm guilty as sin of that as well in some of my designs. Nevertheless; at the end of the day it is just that: a fantasy rendition of a fictional female character. Sometimes logic and physics have to be suspended just so an artist can have the freedom to explore aesthetics and designs that would be impossible otherwise, and be free to express ideas that cannot exist outside of a paper or a 3D polygon model. If every character design had to conform with the rules of reality, well fantasy art would be quite boring.
That said, there should exist a balance, all these games should have the option to have your character (both male and female) to wear as much or as little as the player wants. It would be cool to see that every costume on any game had both male and versions of it, regardless of its design. Tera currently hold the crown of "most revealing clothes on a females in any MMOs" so much so that the US released had to be modified to pass the censors, in the Korea version the content was even more risque due to the questionable "Elin" race and for good reasons: http://pc.mmgn.com/News/No-Panties-.....e-was-censored.

I do get your point about artistic license but personally I would expect a certain level a realism in games, adjusted for the rules of that world. Without knowing the rules of said world I have to project this worlds rules onto the fantasy one and I guess I tend to project too much. However think back a bit it's not so much "vagina pieces" them self that gets me but rather how they are fastened in most cases. It's just my personality and way of thinking but almost always when I see armor part of me starts to analyse how practical it would be. Plus that I don't like the really skimpy armors that much in the first place, I mean if it hardly covers you at all then what's the point of having it, that's my practical side showing through.
Didn't know that about Tera since I've hardly followed it but as the article touches upon much of it is a cultural thing, and the pedophile angle is just wrong since I doubt they go that much for the characters look. Effectively all MMO's I have tried that base appearance on equipped items (regardless of actual slot or "appearance slot") have separate models between male and female characters for the armors (or at least some) they provide, but I wouldn't mind being able to choose what level of "coverage" a certain piece of armor provides regardless of gender of the character.
