Lovely job, but I could never wear one. :P It has too much "lifestyler" (read: TROOLY BELEEV AYM MAI FURSELF) stimga attached to it for me :V I know I am not my character. My character is, perhaps, a part of me, but thats it. I've had too many head-desk moments over the matter to get past it. :P

That, and if I'm all hidden up by my suit, then whats left of me? :3 I don't want people to know some costume, I want them to know ME.

I think you're really look at it from the wrong angle.

It's about having fun.. not thinking you actually *are* your species or about people not seeing the real you. It's not like you run around all con long in a suit. Well.. ok, I know *some* people do, but that's really freaky >.>

There's really many groups of suiters now that I think of it.. and there are *some* that fall into the group you mention but I don't think that really represents most people.

I'm sure I'd love if it I actually tired it. Amongst friends. In a non-public setting. :P With maybe a half-suit with one of those face-only masks. XD Nothing cartoony. :U

Really.. anything in life if you don't 'want' to enjoy it... you won't. If I scoff at a klingon every time I see them, I will never like them or the person in the costume. It's about giving people a chance. Yes.. some fail at that chance, but you gotta give the try at meeting people, trying new things and basically enjoying the experience of life.. you've only got the one chance at doing it.

You have to have an optimistic viewpoint on life and being a bit assertive doesn't hurt either. From how you describe fursuiting with only negative adjectives.. I dont think you would enjoy it.

The reaction I give other people is 'apathy'.

It's not like I'm humping on street corners, we're the life of the party when we go out. We dance, get photos taken, hell.. take shots ;) It's the complete opposite of how you describe it to be.

I think you're seeing the retards in fursuits that piss ya off and assume that's the way everyone is. And yes.. those same people who don't know how to act mature and invade other peoples privacy in suit I don't like either. That's where we give people a chance and they fail at it.

I ws really hoping to get up to NIU this weekend, for some fun suiting again, but RC was too busy to have me over :P Someday, we'll get together and talk about all the fun we should be having ;)

No, I wouldn't do that...they have their own (ugly as sin) mascot...it wouldn't be a good idea to show him up :)

I should really take fursuit photos, I have so many damn props and stuff I just need some fake trees and grass actually, i'd prolly be better off doing them outside, I wonder if anyone would lemme take photos of their suits outside :/
