In the Bravo Strike universe there is a BBC TV series that one of the characters, Teresa Martinez, is very fond of and follows devotely.You get to see snippets of during the series. It is called the "The Little things matter". Imagine if in the 23rd century, well after Earth has made first contact, the British decided to make sci-fi equivalent of Fawlty Towers.
The series is about a female mouse Patrica Little who has started a travel agency for aliens who want to visit Earth. It is called Down to Earth Travels. She is a Type A personality who is constantly juggling the antics of her clients, her employees and her family . Her husband Stuart, who is never referred by his whole name but instead as "Stuart!" "Mr. Little." or "My husband Stuart," is a stuggling children's book author who has had only one successful book "Stephen the Spunky Starship!", and that is only with the aliens GRZACH 3 who consider the illustrations to text to contain profound religious prophecy. It is now considered required reading for all inhabitants of their world. This has resulted in many pilgrims coming to Earth in search of enlightenment from its author. Something Patricia is more than willing to milk for all it's worth and Stuart is very uncomfortable about!

If there is a disenfranchised race or culture out there she's protesting it on her blog. She has also master the art of saying "Whatever!". Their youngest is Patrick, who is an honest down to earth fellow, pun intended, who doesn't get bent out of shape by much and likes pudding.
