What I learned in class today
I really should have been paying attention...lol
Fun fact: My art teacher didn't know what to call Lucian's hell form, so she awkwardly called it a "...dragon" trololol
A couple of people have asked me how I shade my traditional sketches in the past. It's pretty simple, I just take a no.2 pencil and great a sort of rough gradient of shadows and then smudge the fuck out of it with my finger or a shitty eraser. xD I add the dark line work afterword so I don't smudge the base drawing.

if you have kleenexes or q-tips I recommend using those instead of your finger, since your finger has natural oils in it that can mess up a drawing over time :> they also make these "blending stump" tools that are just rolled up paper/cardboard type things. :V
