A giant alligator lounging in a city.. well, maybe the face doesn't look that much like an alligator, but he does have an assload of itty bitty scales, and I think that makes up for it!
This ones pretty old, and probably my first serious attempt at macro. I figured I might as well stick it on here before the cheap printer paper its drawn on completely decomposes.

The snout may be a bit short for a gator's, but then how many giant, anthro alligators are out there to use for referece? :)
Great detail, as always. I like the way you situated him between the buildings, with the various cracks where they're being slightly crushed.

Great details. I'm particularly impressed with the highlights and shadows, 5-D. They give off a good sense of texture, like I'd expect to feel smooth scales were I to reach out and touch it.
"First serious attempt" implies there are others. I'd love to see more, whether they're this caliber of seriousness or not.
