Oceanic Adaptation

I wanted to do one of these on time- but a medical issue thing put my drawing on a hold for the past couple of weeks, and I used this to rehab my hand. I love shark week, although I haven’t caught any of the shows on them this year.

So anyway, this is my contribution to sharkweek, a Sharkfolk tf. I thought about dragging a story to this, but didn’t have the time, I’m way behind on commissions. It’s really a basic sketch with a little color more than anything polished.

Kinda like the blood drawn just above his neck, indicating to me that he clawed his gills into existance. A very painful way to have them form, but artistically it facinates me.
