I always thought the classic Sith names were made of words with the letters i and n removed... Like in-Sidious and in-Vader. *shrug* Go figure. =)

I suppose that could have been possible, too. But I forget which language they said it was (could have been German, forgive me if I'm wrong), but someone told me that 'Vader' does mean 'Father'. And I think the rough translation (again I could be mistaken) for 'Darth Vader' is 'Dark Father'. So, if in this situation, it was a woman, I guess it would have to be 'Darth Madonna'. ^_*

As far as I know, the word Vader/Vater originates from the Latin word Pater. In that case the female version ought to be Darth Mater/Moeder/Mutter or something of that sort... if we follow the same linguistic paths. I uh, I was forced to study these things back when I studied Latin. I can't remember it all, of course. ^^;;

Yeah, I know the feeling. I had two years of French, one year of Spanish, and learned a little Japanese through subtitled anime, but, it's been so long since I've had a chance to practice any of it that I can only remember small words and phrases. The fact that I can't find my class notes doesn't help, either.
