The Healer - a Sky Boats series & Thurs Prompt
For six pages, this goes so very quick, though the writing was a lot harder than I thought it would be.
Yes... I pulled from a bit of personal experience in this one, having been on a Boeing 737 that was stuck by lightening. I literally thought the engine had exploded, but that wonderful aircraft just kept ticking right along.
I hope this series is as fun for you as it has been for me...
enjoy...

I have to say I am delighted to know you can write a rollicking good battle scene, especially one involving war machinery. As a mechanically minded person with an interest in stories about vehicle-based combat, I find your work to be crisp, involving, knowledgeable, and tense. The descriptions are wonderful and bring the scene to life so vividly I feel like I can smell gasoline. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents with us.
Horsefeathers, now that's an odd expression. ;) Being an equine I can say for sure we don't have them. I should know, I've checked. I did find a bit of fuzz but I think that was part of the couch and came along for the ride. ;)
I liked the sound effects, PING! It occurs to me that's probably what making a plan swiss sounds like, putting holes in the side. ;)
Those are speed holes, you know, they make the plane go faster. ;)
