Well despite having only two classes over the summer finals were still as hectic as ever. Largely due to my Dreamweaver class only be half about learning to use Dreamweaver. The other half of "real world simulation", so we had to have a "client interview" with our teacher pretending to be a person who wanted me to build a website for them. We had to have timeline projections, cost analysis, time worked, logs, wire frame mock ups, flow charts, the actual site and then we had to run a user test. It was quite the ordeal.
To keep my sanity through the whole thing when I took breaks I worked on a project I'd been putting off. My role playing group has been running a Mutants & Masterminds campaign set on an artificial island off the coast of New Jersey called Luxx. (long history, but sufficed to say the founder of the city was a man named "Brightmen") on the left you have my character, Azure Fox, a robin hood type thief that is teaming up in hopes of being able to do more good than just stealing rich guys money and using it against them. Next is Chad, who is a reluctant hero who has only recently been convinced he should be a hero, thus the civies. He has the ability to create force fields as well as some telekinetic and telepathic abilities. Lexicon is our mastermind, a mutant who absorbs information at warp speed and thinks twice as fast. He requires.... patience to deal with sometimes. Next is my mate
malachitetiger's character Scarlet Raven, who's nanite suit enhances his strength and speed, has many different sensors and allows him to glide air. He's more or less our strong man. Last but not least is Spark,
silver-seren's character. Super-speeder and lightning blaster. The guy can use his abilities to talk through any radio receiver. He runs a courier service by day called "Lightning Mail".
I wanted to keep these characters feeling like they could have come out of a DC Comics animation like Young Justice so I used a lot of the character art for reference. Think it turned out great though it's definitely not my normal style. I'm really glad I finished these. I've been in a lot of different role play groups and I usually only draw one or two characters and then get side tracked. It's nice to actually have a group shot finished for once. Now, BACK TO REFERENCE SHEETS AND COUCHES!

I think they'd kill me. And we're still working on actually getting a base of operations. We actually only agreed we needed to organize ourselves together last session. Our GM is very fond of "base building" so we're basically starting from scratch. I'd I suspect that we were going to spend a lot of time acquiring the equipment for our base but by amusing coincidence Chad, Raven and Spark are all millionaires. Azure is just "independently wealthy" and poor Lexicon is a civil servant. So it's kind of like if you started a brand new super team with Bruce Wayne, Oliver Queen, Professor X, Reed Richards and Spider-Man.
This is one of the single most perfect super hero design pages I've ever seen in my life! Your art style is crisp and bright. I'm very envious, lol. I've been trying to find someone that had the skill to bring my super hero Meta to life and after researching, I can tell that no one hold's a candle to your ability. Keep up the amazing work!
It just puts code in odd places sometimes. Like if you type out text and then try to add stuff to the same paragraph block it might put it inside the same <p> </p> or it might start a whole new one for no apparent reason. That and the program itself doesn't always display the site the way that chrome and firefox will so I usually just keep it on the code setting and have the page I'm working on open in firefox and I just refresh the page to see my changes.
