Another little gift art, this time for Shhiro of deviantArt . For my birthday she gave me a sketch with a scene involving my Mewthree, Mewblade and her Chosen human, Coline acting out the scene from episode 166 of Sailor Moon Super S "Dreams Forever! Light Throughout the Sky (The Sweetest Dream)". My response to that was watching the same episode and also drawing this scene but with two characters she's much more found of, Mewtwo and his human companion Ai/Amber.

First time drawing Mewtwo with Amber, or Amber in general. (Why did the Americans dub her name as 'Amber'. She has teal hair). I suck at drawing what I estimate to be a 5 year old, so slightly older looking with Mewtwo as an adult and taking the Sailor Moon role. I believe in my universe of the Mewthree I've actually caused some anger over the fact that I assigned Ash Ketchum as Mewtwo's Chosen, when everyone knows his special someone was Amber. He can't remember her, and she's dead, so sorry but it happens. Blame Nintendo for that original design.

Background is a quick hash with blinn looks and reflection overlays since this is what you get for living around glass towers with hopefully semi-clean windows. Drawing isn't so stellar, nor is the pose. Shading is a bit bland for my tastes as well but if I have to do more anime for the girl, then for the Pokemon the simplicity goes down the line. Anyway, had an excuse to draw the pair, and now can cross it off my to-do list.

(Still need to do one other gift art, but it's Yu-gi-oh related and my wrist is just half dead at this point. Need a break...)
