Comics are way, way, way out of my comfort zone. I can't even remember the last time I tried to draw one... but this goofy little scene got stuck in my head and wouldn't leave me alone. I spent a lot longer on this than I should have.
Jinleun (reddish-orange and gold) is mine, Boko (little green guy) belongs to Beaky.
Teeny bit of background for those who aren't familiar with the characters- Jin is an Eastern dragon with some shape-shifting abilities. Boko is one of the owners of the shop where Jin works. (And also probably Jin's future brother-in-law. XD ) He's a paranoid faerie dragon who has a hard time finding the right words. That little stomach pouch? Personal bag of holding. Rumor has it that he keeps a pet narwhal in there.
I don't know where he acquired the controllers (which look like PS2 ones with GameCube buttons...) or the game (Smash Bros with Mortal Kombat health bars?) Maybe someone in the dragon realm is making cheap knock-offs. That's my story. Yuuuuup.

*laughs* I ran the first draft by her for approval (seeing as I was hijacking her character...) but I think she was a bit surprised to see it coloured and all. Then again... so was I! Just planned to digitally ink my sketches to fix a few things, and then it got out of control on me. This seems to happen from time to time. XD

He had an open-source console with an open-source fighting game. Adapters are sold separately from the console in order to give those user a more familiar control with their games. In this case, a GameCube and a PlayStation 2 controller both have adapters and work with the game!
