The Charha cat was trying to find her long lost mother by peering deep into her misty pearl. But it was a peculiar night, the moon was full and very unusual things happened. The crystal ball was shattered as strange kind of magic burst out.
I dunno, it made little sense even as I was drawing the picture. In the middle of it all I kinda forgot the markings on White Eye's legs. ^^;;

I still have hard time thinking of myself as an artist. It's a big word with a capital A.
Lights are easy when you just use them like... BOFF! LIGHTS! PRESTO! Digitally you can add a nice glow to stuff with screening layers and dodge tool. Then you just put bright highlights to the spots where the light is strongest.
Shadows are difficult, because they are wrapped around 3D objects like blankets and they don't always make sense. 'Tis mysterious. @_@
