I spotted this Japan Airlines 747 flying over my house on May 17th of 2008.

Likely headed to KORD's international terminal from RJAA, this made for a cool sight with its large contrails.

Not living near an airport where 747s are commonly seen, this is one of only two 747s I can recall seeing from my home. (the other was Air Force 1)

There are 747s that fly over this area late at night, but, its hard to tell who they are with unless I can hear them crossing through the center frequencies, or see them on flightaware.

I'm sorry the photo is not of better quality. This was taken with my older camera, without a tripod, and he was at a high altitude, as most 747s are.
