As it is our one month wedding anniversary today, I decided to draw a request Vortex made a couple days ago for me to draw us cuddling on our couch. Included is a poem that I wrote a couple days before that:

In Your Arms

Inside your arms I feel safe
I am home and no longer a lost waif.

In them I am safe and warm
And am sheltered from any storm.

Your hand strokes my head
And instantly washes away all traces of dread.

I smile with my head against your chest
Eyes closed, perfectly content to rest.

Inside your arms is my absolutely favorite place
When I'm in them, my worries vanish without a trace.

From you I feel such love
And I know you are a gift from above.
