
WIP - Albatross Multi-use Dropship - store - In world Exampl
So Far, been doing a decent job at the texturing. Only issue currently is the fact that, Since a lot of time has elapsed between texturing, the textures vary in darkness, Im gonna have to fix that eventually when I got for a second pass at adding more colors and emblems.
Thanks to SL thought, they will be sooner or later supporting Specular and Normal Maps and official bump maps, so I might have to redo this someday.
Still a long way until Im done modeling the interior:
Done in Blender, textured using Photoshop, imported into Second Life.
(Avatar is by me, as seen in my earlier submissions, there for scale), as well as the structure directly below the ship. Current this is not the final build and there will be a lot more changes.
Still planning to add some light weaponry to it, as well as practical effects to the engine, after I finish doing the proper optimization
High: Total: 3800 polygons,
Medium: 2500~ polygons (currently only base hull is complete)
Low: 1250~ Target
I changed the front landing gear recently as I wasnt happy with the way how it was constructed, the new version is a bit more polygon heavy thought...

Maybe, maybe.
The platings on the bottom are already scorched from orbital drops.
But since my hues changed over time, its not that completely apparent with the vtol engines, (Its something i will be fixing on a later date)
Probably going to also add some minor wear near the moving components. but Im otherwise going to try to keep wear and "blast" marks to a minimal.
