Shindo was adopted by King Greatwolf when he was almost 4, although the King never payed much attention to his adopted son. He was a symbol of trust from a private army called "Independent Vanguard Corporation " which has strong tribal background. He never met his real parents, but inherited some of their magical power. He grew up with Alex, Nini, Popi, and Kai/Caine. He mainly wandered around with Kai/Caine while growing up, and was there when they split into two people. He was sent away to go train with monks at the age of 12 after King Greatwolf Died and came back to get his G.E.D when he was 18 and become a paranormal detective at age 21.

Shindo is fun and outgoing, and like to socialize with everyone. The meaner the person, the greater the challenge. His energetic personality gets him into a lot of trouble and fights. Loves pulling pranks on those he cares about or those who deserve it. He is also a very open person and while mainly dominant is willing to take a submissive roll. His downside is that he is known to hold a grudge and is very upfront about his feelings, which often leads to public scenes and hurt egos. His biggest fear is dieing in a storm.
