204 mouths. TWO HUNDRED AND FOUR MOUTHS.
What was I working on when I wasn't running around having fun at EFNW? On the flights there, on the flights back, when I was stuck waiting for registration for almost 3 hours? I was building Derpy's mouth rig- and that's these 204 mouths.
That's basic phonemes, in three different angles, in happy and upset moods, and in regular and extreme expression.
On the bright side? Flash has a find/replace colors tool, so now I can use these on anypony I like. :D
Just for fun, I let the eyebrow expressions cycle when I laid these out, resulting in all sorts of goofy expressions on Derpy. :D

Also, I find that animation, your tolerance for tedium shifts. I hate tedius work normally, but when I'm working on an animated piece, it's like I'm in the zone! I almost become obsessive! :O
So I think ones' tolerance for tedium is only half the question; the other question is how much you love what you do!
