Just as this character's mother had to "summon" the deity, I'm assuming that Aquantis has to be "asked" before he can interfere in mortal affairs. As stated before, gods and upper level deities have to abide by certain rules and codes of conduct, whereas demons - some of them - can usually just do as they please. Though, I do ask if this wolf thing is a demon because most "demons" have rules of conduct they follow as well as a certain finesse about themselves.

im thinking, the powers that (his mother?) had are passed on to him, then the spirit is summoned and kicks butt!!!
