I was watching old episodes of my favorite gaming webcast. They were mining DOA Beach Volleyball for bikini ideas for a piece of art one of them was planning. I watched as they dug through the player's collection. "Arthemis? Canary? Hah! Look at what color Emerald is!"

And so, I wanted to draw one of my characters in a bikini. So, yeah... So many errors... No shading... Didn't even draw her second arm... The lack of stripes on her tail is intentional, though. Her tail has no markings.

I'm not really happy with the bikini. It's very generic. If I do this again, I want to design something a little more personalized for her. Still blue, though. I think that's her favorite clothing color. Maybe with a pattern of flowers, or fish. I'll figure it out if it happens.

This pic will probably get kicked into scraps when I have more nice stuff in my gallery.



ON CATHOWL:
Cathowl is a DBZ fancharacter I created when I was 16. Since her creation, she's undergone many design changes, and is still at least partially in flux. She's half Saiyajin, half tiger goddess. Her backstory is, frankly, ridiculous (how ridiculous? Her surname is "Son". As in, Son Goku, not as in Mr. Son. My name is derived from my real last name.). I don't even want to type it out here. Suffice to say, the fanfic she would star in will probably never be written. I don't want to throw her away though, because I'm extremely fond of her. Typically she shows up only in my art, or in my silly personal fics that I hide in the back of my harddrive and only show close friends and family. She's honestly not a very bad character, she's just a bad DBZ fancharacter. But remaking her with another backstory would be making a character LIKE her, not actually her. So, she remains. Slightly embarrassing, but worth keeping. You'll almost certainly see her again.
