A little something to celebrate earning my phlebotomy certification back in July. I grew up watching re-runs of the original Star Trek series, and I've always held a special admiration for Dr. McCoy. Kirk might have been the hero, and Spock was undoubtedly the brains of the outfit, but McCoy was the heart, and probably the most human of all of them. I could never hope to live up to that, not least because the full extent of my medical training only covers how to properly insert a needle in a vein. Still, as ridiculous as it might sound, my desire to help people stems largely from my early love of Star Trek and its ideals.
Yes, she's wearing the male version of the uniform. I don't care that it's inaccurate. There's no damned way I'd face unknown dangers in a damned miniskirt!

I've said it before, I'll say it again, Oli does amazing work, and she always makes Megan look gorgeous. She did a fantastic job with that sly expression that is oh so rapidly becoming Megan's trademark, too! You can't trust that rabbit on anything, except that she's always in the mood to cause trouble! Though I'd say it's not so much the nervous patients who would inspire such a look, as the rude and combative ones. People should remember that it's always a good idea to be polite to those who are authorized to stick sharp bits of metal in them.
I do like the idea of the dentist's sign. Anyone who would have that hanging in their office can't be all bad! Given that modern phlebotomy is the descendent of the old practice of bleeding people to cure sickness, I'd suspect it might be a bit difficult to make a similar sign that was suitably family friendly, but it's an idea, certainly!

Hey now! Megan wears clothes. She just doesn't wear pants much. Or panties. And she has too much fun that way. But I'll betcha she's worn a full outfit more recently than Liane has, anyway!
Aw, well I'll have to see about getting her in a miniskirt sometime, then, just for you. I think it would look good on her. They're just maybe not the most practical of things to wear on a ship full of guys a long, long way from home.
