This was my first attempt at a leather-feather based pendant, though it didn't quite fit the purpose I made it for (as a show piece at DragonCon), I really do quite like it :) It works well as a choker or as a necklace that sits lower down. It has an adjustable chain with a clasp, so you can wear it however you like.
It's made from 4 oz. leather and painted with acrylics. The feather pieces are held together by a super strong adhesive that I use to attach things to my masks. It features stone and metal beads and goldtone wire.
I really need to get one of those necklace 'dummies' I see all over the place to take photos! I took a few of me wearing it but none of them really looked right :\
Since I'm still severely low on funds, I'm putting this up here before DragonCon. Otherwise, I'll be bringing it with me to sell at my table! If you're interested, it's here in my Etsy shop - https://www.etsy.com/listing/107748.....eather-pendant

This is the best one that came out (I really need to get one of those pendant stands for photographs) - http://www.falconmoon.com/masks/swi.....oenix_worn.jpg That's just using a self-timer so I couldn't really get the photo the way I wanted :\ It's completely symmetrical in the way it sits, but because I couldn't figure out how everything was sitting in the photo, it looks lopsided.
Shit, I adore this. If you ever decided to do commissions for certain color feathers (*cough rainbow primarily bright blue and purplecpugh*) I know I would snatch that up, I liked this to a few friends because it's truly amazing what you've managed to do and I hope HOPE you decide to make more because this is just stunning..I can't even wear most necklaces due to chest dermal anchors and I'd wear that anyway!
