Out of curiosity, did you sample the CADPAT pattern from images of various kit items? Or use something like a texture generator? I used to have a link to one that would very faithfully create CADPAT in both woodland and arid colours, plus all the different varieties the US uses.
It looks remarkably good; as I said to Jekka, the uniform & items of kit are right for CF issue. About the only quibble I'd have is for Jekka - where'd you leave your personal weapon?

Well if I was totally hardcore about it, I would have drawn every damn little pixel, but as I have done that prior and wanted a more efficient way (not to mention practice with textures) I actually simply got a high resolution image of CADPAT off of Wikipedia (of all places) and re-sized/pasted next to itself to create a pattern. I could have used photos of my/my husband's CADPAT, but it probably wouldn't have fit together as nicely as it did. Didn't include the rank flash as one wasn't provided. :P
I hate to tell you this, but that's going to be the pattern of your life in the service. Trade courses, specialty courses, refresher courses, NCO courses... the day you finally stop training is also known as retirement I've got mumblety-mumble years in and I still have courses in my future - ALQ, CQ, etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't the recoil of such large rounds shake the optics on that thing apart? I thought automatic grenade launchers only had iron sights for that reason...
Then again, I'm a civilian, I don't exactly get to handle automatics, let alone explosive ones.

This thing has a monstrously fattened recoil dampening mechanism for the very reason. Not to mention a big fat tripod and all else!
Then you can break it down into parts carryable by 4 people - and the whole assembly weighs around 90 pounds + ammo. Light, portable, awesomesauce.
Optics are of course for night vision, rangefinding, and setting off the rounds at appropriate distances.
