Salizar is from a land locked in a battle of the planes. Demons from the nether, agents of chaos and change, rise from the astral depths and take up hold in ancient lairs, castles, and towers. They spread their influence out over the land, hindered only by the Holy Warriors, sworn by a cold silver fist of Order to destroy them, and a small scattering of freelance demon Slayers.

Like many Slayers, Salizar is tainted by demonic heritage; No holy order will give him the time of day, much less accept him as a warrior. Still, for a small fee, he uses his unique gifts to clear the ancient hives of scum and villainy of their fiendish occupants.

He staunchly declares his own humanity, (evidence to the contrary be damned), but no man or woman of tainted blood has lived long enough to die a human of old age. Their heritage always catches up with them...
