It's actually just a silicone case with a denser silicone ring weight attached. The LEDs go inside and the whole arrangement is connected to a special type of cord with a ball bearing swivel at the handle.

It was he first flow art I'd actually gotten into but I picked up poi afterwards because the two have polar opposite styles of flow (one being very meditative and controlled, the other being more free form and boundless).
