I found a picture of a Shetland pony online somewhere, and man this guy was hairy! So much mane! He was mainly mane. So I decided to ponify the pony, that is, draw him in MLP:FiM style.

It would, theoretically, make this style of art a lot easier.
If I can just figure out what InkScape does instead of making sense...

InkScape, Adobe Illustrator, Flash -- whatever. If you can get your hands on a good vectoring program I think it would make your pony art at *least* 20% cooler. :)

Seriously, though, if you ever need some help with InkScape just let me know. Maybe we could do a shared-screen thing sometime, or I could coach you at MFF. Regardless, I still encourage you to pursue it.
