Learning some anime stuff right now, since it's far less concerned with photorealism, which is fine by me. This was my first attempt at "Girl", in and amongst my notebook for The Academy (working title for my pitch Young Adult novel). I know I did a million things wrong, but I'm still kinda pleased.
This character is going to be a goo-girl. I only had a couple colors handy at the time so I just shaded with what I had laying around, her actual coloring will be much different. Probably. I was trying for a clumpy, faintly plastic-looking hair style, since that's what she'll actually have, as well as very large eyes. Not too happy with the mouth area, but I think that will come with practice.
