I know you know that Europe is not just one country, but this journal reminded me of several cartoons I've seen where they are going to Europe, as a literal destination in the air terminal, and to prepare they stock up on all things quasi-European like French, Italian, faux-British etcetera. I love that. I come from Iceland, the north-westernmost part of Europe.

Well if you take the subway at Paris I sugess you to take 10 ticket if you stay a couple of day. It will be less expensive than taking 1 by 1. And if you stay like a week I sugess you to take a special card, for like 20 euro you have unlimited transport for the week.
