Something a little silly from me.
Basically, the story behind this comes from when I first found out about my diabetes. When I found out about it, I was told that I'd need to switch from drinking regular soda to diet. While at the hospital, I got to choose my own drink, which ended up being...Diet Dr. Pepper, mainly because I had enjoyed the regular version before, so I thought it'd be an easy adjustment and change, which it was. To this day, it was my first diet soda, and is still my favorite. :P
Yes, I love a soda, how sad is that. >.<
And I did the bottle and design all by hand, so don't attack me for copyright infringement or anything. ^^; Behold my crappy carbonation attempt!!

Drinking large amounts of regular soda will probably not make you become diabetic, but it certainly doesn't help to do so anyway. There's more to developing it than just that.
Diabetics tend to drink diet soda, at least I do, because the large amounts of sugar that soda contains, would mess us up, probably send us into a shock or coma; diet soda prevents that from happening, since it contains no sugars. Now, if a diabetics' blood sugar was dangerously low, having a regular soda would be good cuz it'd allow the blood sugar to come up. That's sort of how it works.
It's a very complicated disease sometimes. >.<
