This is actually recent. As in I sketched it like a few days ago and just inked it with my technical pens. First time using those monsters to. Or the one. Those are some ridiculous things and hopefully I cleaned the one right.

Anyway, this was sketched digitally then printed out on Bristol Board, inked traditionally with a Rapidograph Technical Pen then scanned and tweaked the levels to remove the blue sketchwork beneath it.

It's a Dire Helicoprion. I drew an anthro one a couple of years ago. This is by far one of my favorite prehistoric sharks. Apparently some scientists now don't think it had that spiral under the jaw like that...but for this purpose of a Dire monster shark beast it's going to keep it. It makes it more gnarly and terrible. It's like jumping right into a living garbage disposal! Yeah!

I may color this. May not. Who knows. Just rather get fiddling with sketches and inks again for the most part.
