This month seems to be choke-full (spelt that way on purpose) of Animal Events! I mean, there is Bowser Day, Shark Week, Fat Bunny Week, Fat Cat Month, and now National Dog Day! There are even plans for Snake Week, Frog Weekend, and Tentacle Week!

(Seriously, the one day I took a break from the Internet... THIS happens!)

Here, I decided to give myself a grace period, since I was not available yesterday and only discovered this day today. (I hope that Konanahrillah follows suit, too...) Today, I decided to 'unlock' my Border Collie forme. (I chose this breed, not only due to its shiny, soft-looking black fur, but also because, similar to me, Border Collies need a lot of mental stimulation.)

You most likely noticed the far more realistic fur here. I used Wastelander7's tutorial for MyPaint here. So far, I quite like this, since the fur appears not only realistic but also shiny. Of course, I did not shade here; I want to get used to the fur brush a bit more...
