thank you!! :) it really does mean a lot. Although I still see many flaws in my work (and no artist is perfect obviously), I have realized that I've come such a far way with my art in the past 5 years than I ever have imagined possible. I'm glad people have been enjoying my art, and hope people will for many years to come!
sometimes I have an ego.. but it's not really with art but more with my mad Dead Rising skillz.. ;) hehe.
But seriously, thank you soo much! I really try hard to improve constantly, I've definitely been trying to go back and get a decent grasp at anatomy and perspective, which definitely is quite the challenge but also the most important thing an artist must learn!

Burlington!! =] I really really like it here... it's a much safer area than where I used to live which I really appreciate, although it's still a "city" so I am still very cautious. There's a lot to do here though, I'm really grateful to be going to a school in such a cool place! I wish I could live here forever XD
XD I wish I could spend all day, everyday on church street! I love the headshops.. ;) and GREAT GREAT restaurants. always something to do there! there's this awesome tea place along a side street my good friend showed me.. and now i'm obsessed!

5000 I would say is more than impressive, but then again I remember how I found you myself. A banner, with no words or advertizing... you let he art speak for itself and it spoke loud enough for me to divert my attention from whatever I was doing to come check out who was behind it's amazing-ness.
I'd say thats proof enough that you're damn good, so congratulations, and enjoy your 5000 fans. I'm glad I'm one of them.

heeh thanks!! I'm really glad to hear my banner works, because I had a banner before that had words on it but I felt like that took away my banner; why not just let people see my art for what it is and judge if they want it, not "LOW LOW PRICES!" or anything like that. I never thought I'd get 5,000 watchers.. it feels so weird! like unreal XD wtf, people actually like my art! knowing that there's so many people that like my art on here really helps me get through hard times, as silly as that sounds.
Beyond how endearing and kind of a gesture this is, so much of the texture on Shani is smooth and pulls the eyes back, where the beautifully contrasting hair bursts with vibrance out into the screen. I love the gleam effect to her hair, on that note.
All in all, thanks go right back to you for being one of the coolest people and enchanting artists on the site. It has been great to see such development, but there's no need for the saps. Just don't disappear on us! <3

I think my favorite thing about shani is simply how contrasting she is, but (hopefully to most people) not in an obnoxiously sparkledog-esque way!
