My black scales innately have this tendency to absorb light. It is a rather curious and somewhat dizzying thing to look at, as it gives my black scales this somewhat unnatural, matte black look. But once in awhile I get the urge to get a right proper polishing, because it turns out my scales actually have a rather interesting texture. If human women can enjoy a day being pampered at the spa, surely I can enjoy a good and detailed polishing?

So, here I am from the shoulders up, after what has clearly been a most careful and thorough polishing, wearing my horn clasps.
