Y'know the other time you said it made things look less "digital"? That made a honkin' load of sense! I go through FA thinking: "Man, that looks so effin computerized."

I'm guilty of using the same dinky set of textures all the time, hoping nobody notices. Gods, you must have a hoard of textures sitting under your metaphorical-dragon-like self or something. o3o

Haha, I think 85% of the pieces I've posted here all use the same one >_< It's kind of hilarious.

But yeah, there's totally nothing wrong with slick, graphic art, but for the more painterly stuff I tend to do, I do like having a bit of texture in there to give it some tooth.

its so funny how i used to MARRRVEL at the way digital painting artist used to emulate textured effects and paint splats, etc for sooooooo long,... only to find out they were textures from sites.....!! \|'D 'an that i could make my own JUST by getting happi with a white peicea paper, brushes and some paint~~
